FREESTONE PONCA QUALIFIER ROUND UP..... Blew bike up in practice causing me to hit the eject button and tearing the legiments away from my ankle. Coming back for moto 1 after finding a bike to ride, put the pain aside for moto 2 coming out with a 2nd over all on Saturday. Sundays motos finished with 4th overall, putting me in a qualifying spot for PONCA CITY!!!
ANKLE UP DATE.....should be back on a borrowed bike by Cowboy Badlands in 2 weeks, Doc did say the legiments have been torn from my ankle, have ankle brace to wear during the weeks while im at work to help support to my foot.
COWBOY BADLANDS Rounds 3 an 4....Saturday track was pretty good first motos then got really cup'd out an rough in the corners. managed to come home with a 2nd overall for the day... went and got rested up for Sundays Races, came out in practice after making a few adjustments to my bar set up, and had fun with the few laps of practice. Track was crazzzy rough coming in and exits of corners deep sand ruts every where was a blast, Coming home for the total weekend, with 2-3 for the two days of racing putting me in the Points Overall LEAD in the south central region
PONCA CITY NATIONAL....Just now getting around to my laptop to update every one on how my week of ponca city went. To start off picking my bike up from the shop i only had 2 days to dial it in before leaving for oklahoma. Mr. John Gross and a good friend of mine spent their weekend watching adjusting and listening to what i was feeling out on the track. Tho lil did alllll that hard work with our lil "team" did any good for the week we sat ouside the track, and rebuilt my shock replacing the spring and having no where to train, Mondays first practice i was allllll over the place like nothing we did was right. Got hooked up with Factory Connections and did their best but by my 2 motos it was just sooo dry and Rough it came down to the valving in the forks an shock just wasnt right. I did not give up and did give it my all with first moto in a 10th spot running i slide out on a face of a jump and ended up breaking my foot on my charge from the back to 18th. My 2nd moto i came out swinging with a 9th spot and held it with a battle for 8th tanggling up with a downed rider on the landing of a jump caused me to charge from the back once again and catching up to 18th. not my best motos but with freaky spills and things that just could only get better for 2012 i am looking to getting back on my hondas where i feel 100% better not only for me but to put my sponsors up on the podium. Right now i am getting settled in with a new job and will be helping me get to more races and put more money in my pocket to buy bigger bulk orders from each sponsor, Will do my 110% to put you guys up there with the rest of my supporters!
Took me some time but after working and saving hard, i have managed to pick me up a honda 450 for the season. An have began my on bike training for 2012 looking to hit many of the lorettas area quailyfiers and look to make the regional at freestone raceway. There are many other races that have on schedule that will be posted along with much more news and pictures along this years season!! See you guys at the races.
